COLLECTIONS

Since I have extra time today- the dryers are all full downstairs and so I don't have much to do, I thought another fun post! Plus, I want my followers to enjoy following me- and I do not have enough up yet! I was browsing around my favorite wedding photogs site, www.eclecticimagesblog.com and I was remembering my wedding! It seems so far away, but I have only been married a month and a half! Along with the brooches, my mom and I had fun collecting vintage cake toppers for all of the tables. We found them on www.etsy.com and www.ebay.com.

I have been reading a book on collecting lately and the author says that collections really need to be showcased together. I mean, isn't that the point? But, I collect a lot of little things and I have found that although I do have a few collections together, sometimes I like to spread them out. For instance, take my silhouette wall. I love this idea, but the other day, I found 2 round ones. I decided to add these to the living room instead of the wall. It is a little sneak peek into what you will find if you keep walking. I did this with my bride and grooms too. I don't have all of them out, just 3 and I have placed them places where they are unexpected.
